Living in the Moment

Here is an something that I found very useful when trying to make positive changes in ones life. I found it in a book by Gary Null, PHD and hope that you will find it helpful:

I am more than my belief. I am present for my own creation. Every day I choose to re:create myself over again in the eyes of myself and not the world. I do not get my view of my life through the eyes of others. I can see myself for who I am and what I want to be. It's through my own eyes - spiritual eyes - that I see my journey ahead. It's society that sees my journey from behind.

I'm either to look ahead or look behind: I'm going to look with my eyes or theirs. Their eyes are going to be aligned and unified, and their strength will become my weakness because their strength allows me no independence and no autonomy. If I choose to look at life as a medium to which I can surrender by emptying out the negative and filling it with the new and positive, then I'm taking a step that they're not going to take. They will hit forty, fifty, sixty, and seventy and be angry or depressed or look in a mirror and consider woefully what is no longer present. I will look in the mirror and say: SEE THE POTENTIAL OF WHAT IS.

Philosophy of Regeneration

The basis of the philosophy of regeneration is that the body, when provided with proper nutrition, has the innate ability to balance itself. Every day, old cells die and new cells are born. In fact, on average, every seven years you are literally a new person because every cell in your body has been replaced with new cells. If the body is balanced, the new cells will be healthier than before. This is regeneration.

However, if the body is lacking in proper nutrition, the new cells will also be lacking in a fundamental ways. This is degeneration. Aging in our society is synonymous with degeneration. We are taught to believe that we simply begin to break down as we get older. Most of the conditions we accept as part as aging are the results of poor nutrition and the accumulation of toxins which cause the system to breakdown. Many of the diseases that are commonplace today are deeply rooted in our lack of knowledge on how to properly nourish and cleanse the body.

To ensure that we regenerate healthy new cells, we must nourish, balance and cleanse the body daily.

Nourish: Herbal foods offer system-specific nutrition to initiate healthier cell production, thereby fueling the body with the power to regenerate.

Balance: Disease is our body's way of telling us that we are malnourished and out of balance. It is the cry for help. When the body receives the wide variety of nutrients that herbal foods can supply, it allows the five systems to work in harmony and do what they are naturally meant to do: create the balance we call 'good health'.

Cleanse: Due to today's environmental challenges, we are vulnerable to a wide variety of pollutants from many different sources. Herbal foods help the body naturally flush metabolic waste and impurities. With proper elimination, we experience mental clarity and renewed energy.
